A collaborative selling event of like-minded antique dealers and contemporary artists is set to take place at York antique dealers, Molly & Maud’s Place next month.
The event, described as “decorative, unique and warm-hearted”, aims to bring together the old and new by showcasing antiques and contemporary artworks side by side.
With many of the dealers and artisans local to York, they will be on hand over the weekend to discuss how to use antiques and today’s art to create engaging living spaces.
Chloe from Molly & Maud’s explains, “With so much local talent around us, we felt that hosting an Open Weekend would be the perfect way to bring together and showcase in one place those respected dealers and artisans we already know and work with”.
Dealers currently lined up for the open weekend, include 17-21 Antiques, Eddintheclouds Antiques, artists Will Watson, The French House and Brocante Decorative.
The event takes place over September 23 to 24 from 10am to 6pm.
