New antiques market for Warwickshire

Visitors to Stoneleigh Park Antiques MarketFair organiser Arthur Swallow Fairs is launching a new antiques market for the winter months at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire starting on October 16, to complement its market held at Donnington Park during summer.

The organisers say, “Stoneleigh Park is a prime location to offer traders and visitors from all over the country and fantastic new trading post – whether you’re a bargain hunter, collector, bygone enthusiast, independent retailers, trade or home buyer.”

There is a strictly no stock allowed out rule until the sound of an air-horn which signals the opening of the market bang on the dot of 7.30am. At the sound of the horn it’s a race against the clock as traders hurriedly put out their stock, the doors open, and trade visitors flood in. This creates a fantastic atmosphere and suddenly it’s a busy, up and running, market with a great buzz.”

The organisers advise visitors to arrive early for the pick of items ranging from silverware, jewellery and glassware, to memorabilia, textiles, art, furniture and more.
