Fontaine’s ‘Gentlemen’s Club’ pops up
Well known British dealers Fontaine Decorative are collaborating with iconic British Potters Burleigh, to create a pop-up ‘Gentlemen’s Club’ in the heart of London’s Soho this ‘Movember.’
The pop-up will feature Burleigh’s new ‘Moustache Mug’ a re-imagining of the Edwardian classic, with its clay guard to stop whiskers getting wet. A barber will be offering wet shaves and a shoe shiner will be on hand to ensure everyone leaves looking their very best. 10% of the proceeds of mug sales at the pop up will be donated to the Movember Foundation.
Fontaine will be furnishing the venue with carefully chosen selection of decorative art and antiques to make it a truly memorable event.
Burleigh’s Creative Director and Antiques Roadshow specialist, Steven Moore said, “I knew that Fontaine were the perfect partners for Burleigh with their love of unique and quirky pieces. They are just perfect for us.”
Stuart Atkinson (left) from Fontaine, added, “this is a great opportunity to showcase our collection of decorative art and antiques to a new audience. We are keen to support Burleigh who are driving a renaissance in the Staffordshire Potteries”
The Burleigh Gentlemen’s Club pop-up will be open at 26 Greek Street, opposite Soho House, from 17th – 21st November.
