Ski posters in sale at Cheffins

A collection of ski posters, consigned by a local private collector who is downsizing his property, will feature in Cheffins‘ ‘Art & Design from 1860’ auction in Cambridge on January 28th.

The collection, with estimates ranging from £100 to £3500, includes a a James Bond poster by Yves Thos (b.1935) Au Service Secret de Sa Majeste, an offset lithograph in colours, 1969, Eon(United Artists, on two sheets with an estimate of £800-£1200.

Another poster for the French ski resort, Ste. Criox-Less Rasse by RH, c.1925, has a guide of £2500-£3000.
