Gucci, Hermès, Chanel, Zandra Rhodes and Christian Lacroix are all top designer names that will feature in Sworders’ Objects of Desire auction in Stansted Mountfitchet next month.
As one of the fastest-growing collecting fields of the art market, Sworders is focused on attracting new and younger buyers for their regular offerings of vintage and designer fashion, jewellery and accessories. “We are delighted to have attracted a new generation of buyers to auction and hope they will find many other things to delight them across our whole sales programme,” said managing director Guy Schooling.
Since launching these sale almost two years ago designer handbags have continued to perform strongly, with examples in the upcoming sale expected to attract interest.
