Fellows Auctioneer’s Fine Jewellery auction on November 21 will offer the ring that is comprised of vibrant marquise-cut sapphire petals circling a cabochon emerald centre to create a striking flower.

The Princess’ royal cypher  is engraved on the inside of the band, and the name ‘Dolly’ is handwritten on the silk lining of the luxurious green leather case that accompanies the ring.

The jewellery will go under the hammer with an estimate of £3,200-4,200, reflecting its royal history and delicate personalisation that enhances its elegance and exclusivity.
