The Decorative Fair returns for spring

A springtime celebration of antiques, design and art from antiquity to the contemporary takes place at The Decorative Fair from May 6-11, 2025.

Antique furniture from John Bly Ltd
Exhibitor John Bly Ltd

The event, held at Evolution London in Battersea Park (and the original fair in a marquee) draws decorators and collectors to see and buy the latest selections offered by 130 specialist dealers. The Spring Fair has a focus on garden antiques.

Exhibitor Nick Jones

The Fair attracts the international interior design trade sourcing every conceivable item to bring a unique decorative touch to their projects, alongside collectors seeking top quality objects to enhance their homes.

Exhibitor The Home Bothy

Buying trends at the recent Winter Fair (held 21-26 January) reaffirmed the appeal of English antique furniture crafted in vernacular woods: ash, oak, walnut and elm. Twentieth century furniture and lighting by leading designers and architects sold well, alongside traditional and figurative art; traditional collectors’ items such as fine silver and glass by eminent makers such as Lalique and Tiffany; exceptional decoration for the wall in the form of painted chinoiserie panels; ‘old-fashioned’ desks and dining tables; fine antique upholstered seating both English and Continental; folk art and more ‘old-fashioned’ treen accessories.

Exhibitor Brillig & Borogove

As The Decorative Fair approaches its 40th Birthday in autumn, the event continues the vision of the founder, dealer Patricia Harvey – carried on today by organisers Jane Juran and dealer/exhibitor Darren Hudson – to provide a perfect source of style from every era to create beautifully layered interiors.
