The Petersfield Antiques Fair will take place at Petersfield Festival Hall in Hampshire on 4th to 6th September, bringing together a mix of traditional antiques and collectables with all exhibits vetted for authenticity and correct labelling.
The Fair will feature lots of LAPADA members who will join new faces including Paul Lake from South Wales who is showing fine boxes and objets d’art.
Several long-term dealers returning include Frank Wilson of Wilsons Antiques in Worthing has been showing for more than 20 years, continuing with a show of 18thand 19th century furniture and paintings. Likewise locals The Petersfield Bookshop with antiquarian books and prints; John Ebdon from Berkshire who sells a range of small pieces across the board; Julia Harrington from West Sussex with a range of small furniture and collector’s items: Sue Killinger from Buckingham with period furniture, silver, lighting and metalwork: Shapiro & Co. from London, with silver and jewellery; and Graham Bentley from Kenilworth with watercolours and engravings.
Cornish dealer Richard Hoppé is returning with scent bottles, 20th century glass and an increasing emphasis on high quality tiles, singles and in groups shown as a frieze. Richard is increasingly finding a market among home furnishers and interior decorators for exotic tile displays.
