Gypsy caravan rolls in to Batemans
With glamping and travelling holidays becoming more and more popular, one lot at Lincolnshire auctioneers Batemans is bound to create interest this summer.
A traditional vintage gypsy caravan, complete with fully fitted interior offers home-from-home comforts on the open road.
Other items in the sale, taking place this coming Saturday 2nd July are a full-sized slate bedded billiards table by renowned makers Palmer & Sons of London; a late 17th century brass lantern clock by Nicholas Fry of Godstone; various Georgian and later silver and a Victorian glass scent bottle. Elsewhere, in the book section of the sale, there is a first edition of Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens with illustrations by Arthur Rackham and a 1657 edition of Cosmographie complete with fold away maps of the world.
