New exhibitors announced for LAPADA Fair
A distinguished list of new exhibitors will be joining the line-up at this year’s LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair, taking place from September 15-20 in London’s Berkeley Square.
New exhibitor MacConnal-Mason will be displaying works by renowned French landscape painter Boudin, British maritime artist Dawson and equestrian painter Sir Alfred J Munnings. An exciting addition to this year’s Fair, the world-renowned gallery will be exhibiting a selection of its finest pieces – a guaranteed highlight for collectors and visitors alike.
Joining MacConnal-Mason will be Babbington Fine Art, with an offering including museum-quality watercolours, drawings and oil paintings; The Linda Blackstone Gallery, which will be exhibiting works from influential British sculptor Paul Vanstone and Antwerp-based Helene Jacubowtiz, and Walker Galleries, which plans to showcase a selection of works from Lieven, Barbier, Marcel-Clemént and Laloue.
Also making its debut for 2017 is Sphinx Fine Art, which specialises in Old Masters and Russian pictures. At the 2017 Fair it will be exhibiting exquistite portraiture from the Flemish School, landscapes by Bassano and a Roepel still life.
Peter Bunting Antiques will too join the line-up for this year’s edition. With expertise in antique oak, portraits and tapestries, its offering will include an immaculately-preserved 15th Century oak panel with original painted detailing. He will be joined by Early Oak at WysdomHall, who, alongside oak, also source antique items in elm and yew, and Philip Carrol Antiques who have a number of specialisms, including Chinese ceramics, English and European porcelain and pottery and 20th Century decorative arts.
Mayfair-based Spicer Warin is another exciting addition to the exhibitor list. Specialising in fine jewellery, diamonds and pearls from the 18th Century to the present, it will be exhibiting pieces including an unusual brooch featuring a Native American chief in feathered headdress and a gentleman’s wristwatch with a very special former owner.
VKD Jewels, founded by Aimée and Fleur van Kranendonk Duffels, together with their father, Jan, is set to bring the finest European and American antique jewellery. With its previous offering including designers like Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Boucheron and Tiffany, VKD is sure to put on a dazzling display.
Finally, Didier Ltd will complete the list of new exhibitors. Specialists in jewels by leading Modern Masters, painters and sculptors that are better known for art than jewellery, it will be sharing a stand with Sylvia Powell Decorative Arts.
Alongside the new exhibitiors, the 2017 Fair will also see some of its most long-standing participants return to Berkeley Square. Butchoff Antiques, Shaw Edwards, Robert Barley and Wakelin & Linfield will be exhibiting for an impressive nine years in a row, withMackinnon Fine Furniture, Tobias Birch, Witney Antiques and Peta Smyth returning for the eighth, sixth and fifth year respectively.
