Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair returns for Spring
Favoured haunt of the interior design crowd and in-the-know style lovers, The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair holds it Spring edition from May 4 to 8, 2022, in Battersea Park.
Some 150 dealers show at the Fair gathered from throughout the UK, offering a stunning variety of one-off antiques and period design, and works of art from all periods to the contemporary. The Spring fair always has a garden focus, with dealers bringing a lovely range of seating, statuary and planters, even antique garden gates and rustic wooden pieces.
Visitors will also find dealers in jewellery and vintage watches, colourful glass, lustrous silverware, pretty and luxurious textiles to display as art as well as for decorating with, country house antiques, collectable folk art, the Gustavian look, and traditional, lovingly crafted English and Continental classics. A surprise is found around every corner to delight the eye, and all one could need to bring a storied look of individuality to a home.
Lovers of a sleek 20th-century look will discover directional pieces by well-known designers, architects and makers, both British and European, and will be inspired by the appealing array of modern and contemporary art, ceramics and sculpture on display.
Mix it up to the max is the mantra of the Fair’s exhibitors who bring a creative cross-section of eras and styles together to inspire and excite. Dealers love showing at the Fair as much as visitors enjoy shopping: Matthew Hall of art dealers Panter & Hall Decorative said: “This is absolutely my favourite fair of all time, it is one of the most varied and interesting fairs in the world.” He went on to describe the “dealers competing to catch the eye of some of the world’s most celebrated interior designers and decorators.”
