100 years of Bentley at Bonhams

Bonhams New Bond Street salesroom will celebrate the British motoring marque Bentley on April 12, as the auction house hosts its    exhibition to mark the maker’s centenary.

One hundred years of the racing Bentley will be illustrated by 100 pieces of memorabilia, including artefacts that once belonged to celebrated engineer and designer W.O. Bentley, designer F.T. Burgess, and J.D. Benjafield who was a Bentley works driver and founder of the British Racing Drivers’ Club; as well as items that epitomise the legendary race meetings at both Brooklands and Le Mans. Also included are period photographs, posters and trophies that define an age.

In addition to the memorabilia, four iconic Bentley team cars will be on display in the London auctioneer’s main saleroom.
