Record returns for LAPADA
The LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair has announced record return rates amongst its dealers for the September event, with Delancey as principal sponsor, in London’s Berkeley Square.
Now in its eighth year, the organisers of this showcase of art, antiques, design and decorative art say that the event, running from Tuesday 13th to Sunday 18th September, will welcome back record numbers of returning dealers.
The LAPADA Fair has seen visitor numbers increase steadily in recent years and, in 2015, extended the event by a day in order to host more than 20,000 collectors and buyers from around the world.
This year, 85% of last year’s participating LAPADA members have booked to return to the Fair. Work includes jewellery, furniture, fine art, ceramics and antiquities ranging from £500 to £500,000 in price.
Mieka Sywak, LAPADA Fair Director, commented: “It is a credit to our exhibitors, partners and
sponsors that the LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair continues to grow in popularity amongst UK and
international collectors alike. Last year’s exhibitors reported robust sales across a range of
disciplines, which is reflected in the increasing number of dealers re-booking each year.”
Jamie Ritblat, Founder & CEO of Delancey, commented: “We are thrilled to be returning as Principal Sponsor of the LAPADA Art & Antiques Fair, one of the most prestigious events in the UK’s art and antiques calendar.”
