New appointment at Halls
Former NAVA Propertymark President Joseph Trinder is leaving Berkshire auctioneers Dawsons to join Halls in Shrewsbury at the start of next year.
Trinder will join the team lead by Jeremy Lamond as fine art and antiques auctioneer and valuer after nearly two years at Dawson’s of Maidenhead and Hampstead.
Joseph said, “I am delighted to be joining Jeremy and the team at Halls. This move reflects a very exciting opportunity to help drive forward this already hugely successful and highly respected business”.
Jeremy Lamond said, “We are delighted to be welcoming such a well respected industry figure who has accomplished so much in such a relatively short time. Having worked with Joe on the NAVA committee, I am already impressed by his ability and consider that he will be a great asset to the existing team at Halls Fine Art”.
Trinder’s role will cover cataloguing and auctioneering in the company’s large bi-monthly collector’s and fine sales together with contribution to its numerous annual specialist sales. He will also have focus on business development, establishing new relationships and sourcing consignments from across the wider region.
“I feel my generalist background and knowledge will be put to great effect at Halls as I can contribute to all facets of the business – through our numerous specialist sales and dedicated specialist departments. I am hugely excited to bring my perspective and experience to the table and look forward to delivering great results at Halls”.
