Sales of antiques boost retail figures
Leading organisations in the antiques and arts world have welcomed the announcement that sales of antiques have helped to boost the UK’s retails sales in June.
Figures released by the Office of National Statistics stated that second-hand goods made the largest contribution to the non-food category, with sales rising by 92.9% in the year to June.
