The organisers of the seventh annual Petworth Park Antiques & Fine Art Fair have announced that the event is due to take place from May 7 to 9, 2021, if circumstances permit.
The event will take place in the historic grounds of the National Trust property Petworth House & Park in the market town of Petworth in West Sussex.
There will be around 50 dealers exhibiting a variety of different specialities to cater for the visitors, who include interior designers, collectors and discerning members of the public.
Items include town and country furniture, jewellery, sculpture, glass, lighting, vintage watches, clocks, silver, ceramics, oil and watercolour paintings and drawings, 20th century design objects, garden statuary, historical medals and many other decorative and unique works of art spanning the centuries.
This year the fair was postponed from its usual slot in May, due to the COVID-19 lockdown across the UK. However, with the event being staged outdoors, in a purpose-built and airy marquee, it successfully took place in September with everyone wearing face coverings, social distancing and test and trace in place.
