Classic American cars in Dorset sale

Four classic American cars, all dating from the 1920s will be looking for new owners and garages following an upcoming specialist sale of vintage and classic cars at Dorset auction house Charterhouse.

All four cars, a 1924 Buick, a 1927 Packard, a 1928 Packard and a 1929 Cadillac, come to the Charterhouse auction from a West Country deceased estate and will be sold on March 9. The auction house said that each vehicle has been cherished and well maintained. Every car has an estimate of £10,000-15,000.

“To say these are imposing cars is probably an understatement,” commented auctioneer Richard Bromell. “They are all ready to be enjoyed or possibly even as a business as they are perfect for use as wedding, prom or TV hire cars.”
