Exciting year ahead for Arthur Swallow Fairs
Arthur Swallow Fairs is to launch a new format show in Lincoln, alongside a new location for their Decorative Home & Salvage Show in Worcestershire.
The fair organiser said that next year’s Lincoln Antiques & Home Show will offer a “refreshed and vibrant show for both buyer and seller.”
The show will continue to be held just outside Lincoln on the Lincolnshire Showground, with the layout slightly changing to close the gap between showground’s Epic Centre and The Avenues. Easily accessible shopping arcades and outdoor stalls will link the two areas.
The organiser said that the demand for home and salvage shows continues to grow. “These carefully curated boutique shows have gone from strength to strength over the years, however there is an ever-present demand for a larger geographical reach.” Consequently, next year will see a new event taking place next in Welland in Worcestershire, close to the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The event will sit alongside Arthur Swallow’s existing home and salvage events at Ripley Castle in Harrogate, North Yorkshire; the Cheshire Showground and Loseley Park in Surrey.
The new Welland show will follow the same format as the existing Decorative Home & Salvage Shows, comprising a mix of shopping arcades and open stands with plenty of space to browse stock. All the salvage shows will remain as three-day events.
Lastly, the events organiser will continue to host its Sunday Vintage Flea Markets on the Lincolnshire Showground.
