Peterborough Festival of Antiques starts Friday
The Peterborough Festival of Antiques, one of the biggest fairs in the UK, organised by IACF is set to go ahead this week from Friday 2 to Saturday 3 October.
While many fairs and events organisers have had to cancel their planned events, the Peterborough Festival of Antiques has been given the go-ahead as an indoor and outdoor market.
Managing Director of IACF, Will Thomas, commented: “The Peterborough Festival of Antiques is classed as an indoor and outdoor market. The local authority and Public Health England have given the market the green light for this Friday and Saturday.”
IACF said it had worked with the local authority and Public Health England to ensure that the event could go ahead, while instituting extensive safety measures for both traders and visitors.
There are expected to be around 2000 stallholders at the event.
