Stately car boot sale in Norfolk
Early rising, eagle-eyed bargain hunters will enjoy the annual Sennowe Stately Boot Sale that takes place this Sunday 30th April at Sennowe Park in Norfolk, sponsored by Cambridgeshire auction house Cheffins.
Experts from Cheffins will also be on hand vetting stalls and giving advice to those whose car boots may be unknowingly harbouring valuable antiques! As the experts wander around the park they will approach the car boot sellers when they spot items of worth and give the sellers their professional advice on valuation.
The county of Norfolk has been the region for many wonderful finds in the past which have sold successfully at Cheffins auctioneers. Items have included a large early 18th century leather ‘Black Jack’ ale jug, which came from High House, Westacre in Norfolk and sold for £900; and a portrait of Mrs James Hoste of South Wootton and Sandringham which sold a few years ago for £3,800.
The Stately Car Boot Sale takes place from 10am to 3.30pm.
