With Chiswick Auctions’ 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Sale coming up on 19th July, we’ve pulled together a few of the sale’s standout lots that have caught our eye.
An Art Deco stoneware figure of a bathing girl applying her makeup, entitled Donna che si Trucca – circa 1935, made in Italy in the Torino factory, painted underneath with Essevi.
A bronze portrait bust of John Hull Gundy by Mark Batten. Estimate: £600-£800
Cast iron aluminium lamps with coloured perspex lenses by Greek artist, Vassilakis Takis, entitled Signal. Estimate £1000-£2000.
