Esher Fair returns in October
The Esher Hall Antiques & Fine Art Fair takes place in the Esher Hall at Sandown Park Racecourse, in Esher, Surrey in October.
Organised by The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited, the fair has prices from £100 to upwards of £50,000. As well as the event’s regular faces, new dealers include Catherine Hunt Oriental Antiques specialising in Chinese porcelain, Deco Original with Art Deco furniture and accessories; Augustus Brandt’s carefully chosen antiques and luxury lifestyle pieces; Fileman Antiques’ lighting and glass; Jonathan Knight Sculpture; Lucy B Campbell Gallery’s emerging contemporary British, European and American artists; and vintage watch specialist Timewise.
Some highlights of the fair include a George III period mahogany breakfront bookcase from S & S Timms Antiques, c 1800, for sale at £17,500; and an extensive selection of clocks from French Louis XVI to Empire examples from Richard Price of BBC Antiques Roadshow fame.
Visitors can also expect to see a pair of Regency storm lights from Fileman Antiques; a pair of Chinese 18th century porcelain lotus cups; contemporary bronze sculptures and Art Deco glass. Elsewhere, decorative items, country oak and jewellery are all well-respresented. The Fair takes places from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th October 2016.
