
A private collection of Royal Worcester Horses, modelled by Doris Lindner will are set to go under the hammer next month at
Tennants.Among the collection is the extremely rare model
The Winner with Jockey and Stable Boy. According to the
Museum of Royal Worcester very few were made with the stable boy leading the horse up and as such the model has an estimate of £1000-1500, without box or certificate.
The collection of 13 horses from the private client, also includes mounted models
Royal Canadian Mounted Police and
Napoleon Bonaparte, as well as favourites
Red Rum and
Arkle. They will be sold as part of the larger Beswick, Border Fine Arts and Collectables section on Saturday 10th September.
