Contents of Aynhoe Park in January sale

The contents of Aynhoe Park in Oxfordshire will go under the hammer at Dreweatts early next year.

The beautiful grade I-listed country house, which dates from the 17th-century is privately owned by entrepreneur James Perkins, the founder of dance-party powerhouse Fantazia. The two-day sale will take place on January 20 & 21, 2021.

The Aynhoe Park seen by visitors today is a testament to James’ passion for restoration and as the house has already been sold, Dreweatts said this will be the last opportunity to own a piece of its history. The contents on offer in the sale will include art works, furniture, sculpture and one-off designs.

Aynhoe has been host to celebrities, dignitaries and those wanting an exclusive, immersive event at the house. A spokesperson for Dreweatts said, “As you take a ‘grand tour’ through the carefully curated rooms, there is an unrivalled sense of wow at every corner!”
