New Head of Valuations at Dawson’s

Dawsons Auctioneers has announced the appointment of Siobhan Tyrrell as Head of Valuations at their London Hampstead Office.

The auction house said Siobhan brings her extensive experience to Dawsons to increase business opportunities and market share, providing client valuations both at their office and through home visits.

A familiar face on BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, Siobhan has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained over 25 years, having worked as a General Valuer for auctioneers Phillips, Son & Neale, and Bonhams, Bond Street.

As a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, she is a fully qualified gemmologist and diamond grader, and also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. From 2004 she worked for Gurr Johns Fine Art Valuers.

Since 2019, Siobhan has appeared regularly on the Antiques Roadshow talking about jewellery, women’s history and military medals.
